Convention on Monday. It didn't officially start until Tuesday and Charlie during his time there Monday,
Charlie visited with different vendors and exhibitors as well as Sun-N-Fun Radio. They operate during the

We were in the FlightTime Radio studio and the Big Clear Blue Sky was outside waiting for airplanes! We had
Dave Lubore of Tecnam USA with us during the first half of the show. Dave represents the North American
Distributor of the Tecnam Aircraft. He talked about their three models, including the new P2006.... A TWIN
engine Rotax powered aircraft. While he visited with us, he was on his way to Lakeland's Sun-N-Fun Fly-in.
In a day or so, Charlie will be at Sun-N-Fun, and by the end of the week, Milford will be at the Fly-in and

Another Beautiful Day for Flying! We are here at the FlightTime Radio Studio on the
southside of Jacksonville, and the weather outside is INCREDABLE. We talked about.... believe it or not,
Flying! Bill called in and told us how he fought a forest fire using the prop-wash from a Navy SNJ flight
trainer! We have started a short segment telling about items that listeners have for sale. Milford talked
about a few items in Aviators Hotline, and Charlie told about a set of Airline seats he has for sale. Send
us an email if you have something we would be interested in talking about on the show. Maybe your item

Hi Everyone! Milford and Charlie were at the Palencia Golf Club just north of Saint

broadcast. Perhaps in the near future, I can remove enough of the noise that we are able to post the
PodCast, but as of right now, the recording is unuseable. Soooo.... I decided to let you listen to NEXT

book about the P-47 Thunderbolt pilots and the way they supported the ground troops in much the same way
that the P-51s protected the bombers. Well not only did we talk to Tom, but he brought along Mr. Ed
Lopez, one of the Original Hell Hawks and it was an honor to talk to a true American hero from the
greatest generation! At the end of the show we talked with Kelli-O about going on an IFR proficiency
flight with Milford and Sam, and let her describe popping in and out of clouds.

the pleasure to talk to Arty about her planned flight from Oregon to the "Sun-N-Fun" Fly-in next month in Lakeland, Florida. Arty is a
motivational speaker by trade, but a SPORT pilot by choice, first and foremost! See Arty's web site at "www.lessonsfromtheedge.com". A
couple of things are a bit out of the ordinary for her planned flight though. First, it will be from the great northwest of the country to the
great southeast! Even that is an overwhelming accomplishment for a seasoned pilot, BUT, Arty is going to do it in and aircraft that weighs
about the same amount as Milford! Actually, it is closer to Charlie’s weight in reality! The aircraft is a 1984 Maxair Drifter and weights
just 320 lbs and is powered by a 52hp two cycle engine! The flight will proceed south along the west coast to southern Cal-ah-four-knee-ah,
then turn left and fly I-F-R to Florida. In this case the I-F-R means “I Follow Roads!”(Interstate 10 in this case), not the standard
aviation meaning of “Instrument Flight Rules”…..after all, the thing don’t even have any instruments! Listen to the show and get the entire
TRUE story from the lady that is going to do it, Arty Trost. Chris Leak of the Florida Gators was with Milford for the last fifteen minutes
of the show. Milford was also joined by Robin in the FlightTime Radio Studio. Robin is the Sports “Expert” for WBOB, FlightTime Radio’s
host station.

FlightTime Radio Show 60

LIVE... From Keystone Heights (42J) Airpark!

FlightTime Radio Was ‘Live’ this week from the Keystone Heights Airpark (42J). Keystone is just a short distance southwest of
Jacksonville, and they hosted a HUGE weekend of aviation. The Collins Foundation was the guests of honor at the event and there to support the
"Wings of Dreams Aviation Museum" being built at the Keystone Airport. Throughout the show and the weekend, fighters and bombers from WWII filled the skies over the airport with flight demonstrations, aerobatics
and even rides in the old ‘Warbirds’ and fighters. For the first ten minutes of the show, Milford had some audio technical difficulties with
his microphone, but had it cleared up by the second segment of the show. He and his guest, Glen Boyles talked with guests live there at the
show and listeners calling into the show by phone. Milford and Glen gave away another "Introductory Flight" offered by our host, North Florida Flight Training. Listen next week because Milford will have Arty Trost on the show as well as Chris Leak.
Arty is a Professional Speaker, Ultralight Adventurer. Read about Arty at her site, "Lessons From the Edge". Her ultralight adventures were
featured on National Public Radio in August, 2003. Stories about her long distance flights have been published in newspapers and several
national magazines.	Chris Leak is not an aviator, but we wanted Chris on the show to talk about his program that could change the lives of young athletes
everywhere. Chris led the National Champion Florida Gator Football Team to their first SEC Championship since 2000, and a spot in the 2006
BCS National Championship Game against Ohio State University. Chris also broke many University of Florida passing records set by Heisman
Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel. He eclipsed Wuerffel's record for career passing yards at Florida during the 2006 SEC championship season.

LIVE!! From North Florida Flight Training!

"Were Comming to You LIVE .. From North Florida Flight Training!" Milford and I met at North Florida Flight
Training, over at Craig Airport. After setting up for the remote broadcast, we jumped into their bright shinny new "RedBird" full motion
flight simulator. Actually, Milford jumped in it while scrambled to set the equipment up, but who am I to notice?! I finally got my
opportunity to fly, taking over Milford's flight. He was at some nose bleed altitude over the Texas countryside. I immediatly pulled the
power back to leave the 5000 ft. altitude and descend to a reasonable altitude.... maybe 700 or 800 ft.

I found an airport and managed to land, then take off again. I noticed some radio towers in the distance and headed that way. I flew
between thenm a couple of times before trying the "Red Bull" knife edge, ribbon cut while trying to weave in and out of the row of towers. To
avoid a long story, I'll just say that the flight ended in time for me to make the radio show and the professionals at North Florida Flight
Training with the difficult task of unwinding the simulator and clearing out the smoke from my crash!

Milford and I gave away another "Introductory Flight" offered by our host, North Florida Flight Training. We had a "Blast" doing the show, and
flying the "RedBird"!

IT WAS A REALL KICK! Tom told us!

“IT WAS A REALL KICK!” Tom told us as he reported back on the introductory flight he had won on FlightTime Radio in the Flight
Design CT at North Florida Flight Training over at Craig Airport. Right after we got Tom’s exciting story we gave away another Flight Design
CT flight to Russell. After he visits North Florida Flight Training, he plans to call us back as well. Charlie and Milford were both in the
FlightTime Radio Studio this morning and had Donato Martino from US Sport Aircraft with us to talk about their Light Sport Aircraft. They
represent both GoBash Aircraft and the Czech Aircraft Works. During the second half of the show, we gave away an hour in North Florida Flight
Training’s new RedBird multi-axis flight simulator to Mark. This time though we gave it away to the first person to send in an email to
info@flighttimeradio.com with the announced code word in the subject-line of the message. Shawn Okun joined us from Float Planes and Amphibs
in Sebring, FL. We had a very good discussion about the costs, requirements and the availability of aircraft for Light Sport Float Plane
ratings. Sure sounded like a LOT of fun!

LIVE! from the Light Sport Expo!

Remote Broadcast from the Light Sport Expo, Sebring, Fl! Charlie was in the FTR Studio all alone, because
Milford had flown down to Sebring, Florida to visit the "Light Sport Expo". This was the 5the Expo and had much better weather than last
years. Milford managed to have Dan Johnson of LAMA, the "Light Aircraft Manufacturers Association" as his first guest. Dan is recognized in
the industry as the man with all the answers in the "Light Sport Aircraft" area. In the second segment, Ken Goden of "Flight Design USA",
talked about the aircraft Flight Design builds. Flight Design is the builder of the aircraft used by North Florida Flight Training for the
"Introductory" flights given away during the FTR shows. We gave away another “Introductory Flight” from North Florida Flight Training at
Craig Airport. Herb, the winner promissed to let us know how much he enjoys the flight. Jim Bede visited next and talked about his projects
during the third segment. Jim has designed dozens of very popular aircraft over the years and is still designing more. During the last
segment, Milford talked to Corkie Fornof. This is the second time Corkie has been on the show. Corkie is famous for his flying in movies
such as James Bond as well as airshow and aircraft racing, but talked to Milford about his newest love, the "LoPriesti Fury"! Take a look at
the aircraft on the LoPriesti Fury website! The show ended long before Milford had a all of the guests. We will be sure to have them on

FlightTime Radio - Year 2 and going Strong!

It was a beautiful morning, almost TOO beautiful to be inside I the FlightTime Radio Studio for the show, but We forced
ourselves. Charlie and Milford opened the show talking a bit about the incredible water landing of the U. S. Airways jet in the Hudson River
between New Jersey and New York City. Everyone agreed that it was truly amazing! Discussion moved on to the ease and simplicity of gaining
your Sport Pilot rating and some of its restrictions. This led on into the giving away of ANOTHER “Introductory Flight” from North Florida
Flight Training at Craig Airport. Before we knew it, we reached the end of our 55th FlightTime Radio Show.

2nd Show of Our 2nd Year!

FlightTime Radio Continues into it's 2nd year! Dick Bevington, called from high in the Colorado Rockies to share a portion
of his life long passion with aviation and to tell stories of his flying adventures through the past decades! He talked with Milford, Charlie
and Brian about the military aircraft he had flow, adding that he liked the T-38 Talon the best, but Aerobatics was his aviation love at this
time. He also revealed that he has ordered a "Helicycle" helicopter kit from "HELICYCLE©". After Dick left, the winner of a previous
"Discovery Flight", Steve, called to tell about his flight that had been provided by Sterling Flight Center at Craig Airport. He loved the
flight and was able to take his 4 year-old son along. His son noticed the rivers and streams of northeast Florida, and refered to them as
"Water Lizzards" because of the way they twisted across the landscape below. FlightTime Radio gave away ANOTHER "Discovery Flight"! Scott
won the flight offered by the show sponsor, North Florida Flight Training. In the near future, Scott will be on the show to tell about
his flight!

Our First Anniversary!

FlightTime Radio's 1st Anniversy Show! We made it a Full year, and with this show, we are starting ANOTHER!
Brian and Milford were hosts to Mark Langford. Mark has built a Rand Robinson KR-2, and it is a BEAUTY! After talking to Mark,
Shawn Knickerbocker of Aviation Training and Consulting (see our Sponsors) called to tell us about his "New" 1943 SNJ-5 Navy Flight Trainer.
He purchased it in California and flew it back to Herlong Airport in Jacksonville. Milford and Brian spent considerable "Smoozing" Shawn in
a pitiful attempt to get a ride in it! This week, as a Birthday Celebration, FlightTime Radio gave away "Discovery Flights"! The first was
from North Florida Flight Training and was won by Keith. The second was from Sterling Flight Center and was won by Alan. We are looking

The Fun of Flying is All We Talk About

It’s A Good Day for TONY! That’s what Tony said and we agree! Tony was the winner of this weeks Discovery Flight, donated by
North Florida Flight Training at Craig Airport. Tony had started to take Ground School to get his license back in the early 1980’s. Perhaps
this will be the bug that bites Tony and takes him all the way to his pilot’s license! The heart of today’s discussion is about a program by
the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association or AOPA. The program, "Project Pilot” by the AOPA focuses on new and student pilots adopting a
"Mentor" to help them along, encourage them, and even provide explanations to problems the student can’t seem to overcome. This discussion
carried on to AOPA’s list of the 10 reasons students do not succeed. Perhaps, as a student, your problem is #4 or #7. Well, We discussed all
10 of the items, and you may find the answer or guidance to finally finish your flight training and gain that pilot rating you have spent so
much time and money pursuing. Listen to the show and see! It’s also a good day because it is FlightTime Radio’s 52nd show which completes
ONE FULL YEAR of bringing the Joy of Flying to everyone!

Punta Gorda on Florida’s southwest coast. Kim described the wonderful military and aviation displays. The museum is free to visit, but
donations to help keep the museum open and the displays in first class condition are always welcome. The museum is also interested in new
displays. If you have military or aviation memorabilia and need a tax donation, consider donating it to the museum and allow others to enjoy
